How do I register and download the app?
Download the app from the App Store (on iPhone) or Google Play Store (on Android) and sign in with your work email address. If your e-mail does not work, please contact: Mobilitaet@behringwerke.de
Use of the app
How do I use the Liftango app?
- The first step is to download the app on your favorite app store (iOS and Android) by searching for “Liftango”.
- Users must sign in to the app with their work email address.
- Create a simple profile detailing your needs as a passenger/rider or driver
- Set the start and end location of your first trip and choose Drive, Ride or I don't care as both.
- Be sure to indicate if you want to leave at a specific time or arrive at a specific time
- In your trip planning mask, you can select additional options such as recurring trips (for the next 7 days) or return trips (plan both outward and return trips in one process).
- Once this is complete, press confirm and the app will search for matches

Is the app open to the public?
Only employees at the Behringwerke site with a valid business email address can use this app. If you work at the site but do not have a company e-mail address, you can request access by sending an e-mail to Mobilitaet@behringwerke.de
How can I set my home and work address?
You can set multiple favorites in the app. These are then available when a carpool request is made. The general business address Emil-von-Behring-Straße 76, 35041 Marburg cannot be used as a destination address. The desired parking area can also be selected via the booking request (see Parking section).
How can I create private trips?
Do you only want to carpool with a certain colleague? A private journey is possible with the Liftango car pool app. Simply turn on the private ride option at the end of your booking requests and follow the on-screen steps.
Can I cancel a trip?
Yes. You have the flexibility to plan, accept, decline or cancel a trip at any time. The Liftango app gives you the ability to schedule a carpool on your own schedule at a time that is convenient for you.
How can I communicate with other users in the app?
You can communicate with your carpool match via SMS message from the app.
Parking
Where are the reserved parking spaces?
There are reserved carpool spaces in the following 6 parking areas:
- MARS
- Görzhausen 2
- M440
- M100
- H018
- Ludwigsgrund
- M540
You will see these parking areas in the map overview of the start and destination query within a journey booking with the parking space symbol "P".
How do I get a reserved parking space?
As a confirmed carpool you get a reserved parking space. If you have not found a passenger, you can also get a parking space as an individual if there are still free parking spaces.
When will I receive my digital parking ticket?
You will receive your digital parking ticket as a carpool on the previous evening at 9:00 p.m. This will be displayed to you in the journey booking. After 9 p.m., the remaining parking spaces are assigned according to a certain logic.
Do I have to show my digital parking badge to access my reserved parking space?
Yes, in the case of reserved parking spaces within the plant, this must be shown to the plant security officers at the gate upon entry.
What do I do if I forgot my password?
Enter your company e-mail address when registering and then click on “Forgot your password”. You will then receive an email to reset your password and can then log in again directly with the new password.
