Liftango Announced as Finalist in Prestigious Toyota Challenge

Australian-based organisation Liftango has moved onto the final stage of the prestigious City Architecture for Tomorrow Challenge.

What’s a Rich Text element?

test caption

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

From more than 90 global applications, Australian-based organisation Liftango has moved onto the final stage of the prestigious City Architecture for Tomorrow Challenge—initiated by the Toyota Mobility Foundation and partners—in order to help improve mobility and city planning in Kuala Lumpur.

After being announced as one of 16 semi-finalists in August 2020, Liftango has now successfully moved forward to the final challenge round as one of six finalists.  Liftango will deploy a six week MVP and based on the performance of the POC projects by all finalists, a winner will be announced.

In Liftango’s most recent submission to the judges, data and research determined a number of uninviting factors contributing to mass road and traffic congestion within Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Liftango’s proposed Demand-Responsive Transport solution to this challenge will assist in eradicating the inconvenience of long waiting and travel times for passengers through real-time routing optimisation and accomplish TMF’s desire to unlock human-centric, data-driven innovations to further ‘Mobility for All’ for residents of Kuala Lumpur.

When deployed on a citywide scale, Liftango’s solution has the potential to:

  • Eliminate 93 road accidents per year
  • Eliminate 63 million kilometres of road travel per year
  • Save 7.5 millions kilograms of CO2 per year
  • Remove 15,000 cars from roads per day

Our team loves determining opportunities for transit improvement and growth through technological advancements and we look forward to the final submission,” says Liftango CEO, Kevin Orr.
